For Pebblesdork sasusaku

Sasuke sighed heavily, leaning back in his chair, as he spared a glance at Sakura. Her soft face gleamed in the sun’s rays. Her sea foam green eyes were closed peacefully. A video tape was entwined securely between her slender fingers. Curiously, Sasuke stood, retrieving the old video from her hands, being careful not to disturb his wife. Walking over to the TV, he opened the VCR player and gently inserted the mystery video.

The television flickered on, and a young girl of about fifteen was standing on an old-fashioned swing set. Her pink hair cascading down past her shoulders, and her bright smile; breathtaking. Her jade eyes were wide open for the world to see, and her pure joy was shown in them. She laughed, carefree as she swung back and forth going higher each time.

“Sasuke do you see how high I’m going?” said she betwixt her giggles.

A voice that seemed to be coming from the person recording the video replied:

“Aa, in fact I do. And so does everybody watching. Say hi to everybody Sakura.”

Sakura jumped off the swing set and ran up to the camera.

“Hello, everybody. Have you met my amazing boyfriend Sasuke?”

Sakura took the camera from Sasuke and switched it so he was now in view. Sasuke glared at the camera.

“Sakura you know I hate cameras.” He stated matter-of-factly.

“But Sasuke! They have to see hot handsome you are!”

Sakura held the camera out with one hand so they were now both in view. ”See this is Sasuke. He may seem a little cranky, but that’s only because we didn’t get his coffee yet. It’s,”Sakura checked her watch”Only 7:30 AM. But take a good look at him because he’s mine and you’ll never ever have him.”

Sakura gave him a loving kiss on the cheek. Sasuke began to blush.

“Well how about we get that coffee now Sakura?” Sasuke suggested, for he did not want to be embarrassed on camera any further.

“Okay, wave bye to everyone Sasuke.” Sakura cooed, while waving goodbye herself.

Then the screen turned blank.

Sasuke smiled to himself as he closed his onyx eyes, in sync with his wife, and began to remember…
