Chapter 2

Lunch. Finally. My stomach was growling the entire time and I think Sasuke heard. So embarrassing. Anyways when we leave for lunch I realize today is the last day there, forever. It's kinda sad, so many memories. Most of them are Naruto being a class clown, but he's still funny nonetheless. So I'm looking around for Sasuke, right when,speak of the devil, Naruto comes up to me.
"Hey, Sakura-chan. You wanna eat lunch with me?"He asked shyly.
"Why would I wanna eat lunch with you? You're annoying."I shot back, trying to see around him for look for Sasuke.
"Oh, right sorry."He said, frowning. Ah, there I found Sasuke!
"Ah, yeah Naruto...sure. Uh I gotta go catch ya later!"I said, running up tp meet Sasuke.
"Sasuke-kun wait up!"I shout, waving my arms around like a retard. Sasuke looks back at me, turns around and continues walking. But I can totally tell he's walking slower than before, probably letting me catch up to him.
"Hey..."I said, finally catching up to him. I took in a deep breath.
"Hn."Sasuke replied. He's not much of a talker, but damn he's sexy.
"Kinda sad right? Today's our last day in the academy together. What if everyone has to split up after?"I said casually, looking ahead.
"I don't really care if we have to split up."Sasuke shrugged.
"Really? What if your placed with these new weirdos that are from somewhere else."I questioned. Sasuke just shrugged again, shoving his hands into his pockets.
"Doesn't matter."He said finally.
"Oh....By the way is it true Naruto actually graduated?"I turned my head, looking to see if he decided to nod or shake his head instead of speaking.
"Yeah, I think he did."He said, monotone.
"Well I didn't think he could ever graduate."Sasuke raised his eyebrow, yes I caught it."Cause, you know. He doesn't have any parents or anything. No one to tell him what to do. Or to train him. That's probably why he always gets into so much trouble."I said, nonchalantly. I didn't notice that Sasuke stopped in his tracks.
"I mean seriously. If my parents caught me doing any of that stuff he does, they'd kill me. Naruto has no rules, he can do whatever he wants."Just then I urned my head around to see Sasuke a few feet behind me.
"Sasuke-kun what's wrong?"I asked, turning my head.
"Lonliness. It doesn't even compare to a parent's mere lectures."Sasuke began, his head hanging low. He was kinda freaking me out.
"Sasuke-kun...?"Just then Sasuke snapped his head in my direction.
You're annoying."Sasuke hissed. My eyes widened. Annoying? I was annoying? Sasuke abruptly turned on his heel and began to walk away. A few moments had passed by, but I still didn't move. Eventually, I sat down on a nearby bench. Oh my gosh. Is this how Naruto feels? I guess I should be nicer to him.
"Sakura-chan!! Oh Sakura-chan!!!!"Naruto came running towards me. Well here's my chance. Put a smile on Sakura. Smile.
"Oh hi Naruto!"I said, putting my best smile on. Naruto stopped dead in his tracks, a few feet in front of me.
"Huh?"he said. Oh yes he was real smooth.
"I said hi."I repeated.
"Why?"He said scratching the back of his head. The anger in my blood was making it boil.
"Because, Naruto. If a girl is nice to you, you don't question it."I crossed my arms confidently.
"Oh right, sorry."He smiled a big, toothy, goofy grin. He ran up to me, grabbed my arm and ran to class.
"Naruto!"I shouted,almost falling.
"We're gunna be late to class!"He said, turning his head back. I smiled. He really is nice. A knot in my stomach was forming. How could I have said such horrible things about him? As we were on our way to class, Ino came out of a lunch shop. She immediatly turned around.
"Oh hi forehead girl and...Naruto?"I guess even she was suprised I was being nice to him.
"Hi Ino-pig."I said giving a challenging glare. Naruto sensed the tension and anime sweatdropped. He stepped back from us. Ino and me fell into step. We started out at a slow, walking pace. Then we began speeding up.
"There's no way I'm gunna loose to you Ino-pig!"I threatened.
"I'm going to win AGAIN forehead girl!!!"Ino declared, she actually thought she was going to win. We were now running, sprinting to class. Oh man, I left Naruto behind, I thought. I could see it. The academy was comming into view, closer and closer. We barged in through the doors together and continued running into class. I opened the dorr and shoved my way through.
"Yes I won!! Take that Ino-pig!"I shouted. Cha, I won! My inner self proclaimed. Ino scoffed, crossing her arms and closing her eyes, while sticking her nose in the air; a true snob.
"Yeah right forehead girl. We all know I totally came in the classroom a milimeter before you did."I was about to reply when I saw Sasuke-kun sitting all by himself. I immediatly ran up to him.
"Hi Sasuke-kun. Mind if I sit next to you?" I asked, sitting down. He didn't reply, but then again I didn't wait for one.
"No way I wanna sit next to Sasuke-kun!"Ino yelled. I placed my hands under my seat, to prevent me being knocked off of it.
"Too bad Ino. Snooze, ya loose."I stuck my tongue uot at her. Soon, all of the girls in the class were fighting over the seat, meanwhile I was still sitting in it. Out of nowhere, Naruto jumped onto the table. He gave Sasuke a hard glare. Sasuke, who previously had his eyes closed, almost as if he had a headache, opened them and glared back. His glare was terrifying. I could literally see sparks flying between them. Then, Shikamaru stood up, yawned and knocked into Naruto, who in turn knocked into Sasuke and winded up kissing Sasuke.
"NARUTO!!"I shouted. Cha! I was supposed to be Sasuke's first kiss!! Naruto was aparently gagging, along with Sasuke. I could see why Sasuke was gagging, but Naruto should consider himself lucky. But now he'll have to pay. I cracked my knuckles loudly enough for Naruto to turn around and gulp.
"S-Sakura-chan."He studdered. I punched him hard in the face and he flung at least ten feet away. Serves him right.
"Okay class quiet down, quiet down! Now upon becomming genin, you will notice that it is slightly different from the academy."Iruka-sensei announced.
"What do you mean 'different'?"Naruto asked.
"Yes, Naruto I was about to explain that, if you would please sit down."Iruka said, tiredly. Naruto of course had to sit next to me. So it was Naruto to my right, and Sasuke to my left.
"Anyway. What I mean is, you will be working in three men squads."Either a sigh, or a yelp, or a cheer followed that comment. I think Sasuke sighed. Cha!! Now's my chance to get close to Sasuke!! I'm definatly gunna be on his team!
"Hey forehead girl,"Ino whispered from behind me. I turned around."I betcha Sasuke's gunna be on my team."I giggled.
"Yeah right Ino-pig. Why would anyone place you on his team?"
"And now, for the teams."
(Skip to Naruto's team.)
"Team seven. Naruto Uzumaki,"Naruto looked up.
"Sakura Haruno,"Oh no! I'm on Naruto's team!! This can't get any worse. I could hear Naruto cheering.
"and Sasuke Uchiha."My ears perked up. Cha!! Yes Take that Ino-pig!! True love conquers!!! I turned around and stuck my tongue out. Her whole face fell. I giggled. Yepp, I definatly heard it this time, Sasuke sighed again.
This was gunna be a long few years...
